St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

Disneyland Hotel Beer

When St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday, you have a guaranteed full weekend of green fun. Check out Muldoon’s 39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party at 202 Newport Center Drive in nearby Newport. The “Shamrock ‘n’ Roll” lasts three days and was voted the Best Irish Pub by CityVote. Enjoy live entertainment, traditional Irish fare, and traditional dancing. There’s no cover at this party.

In Long Beach, hop on board the Queen Mary for their Shamrock Rock ‘n’ Roll. On Saturday from 7 p.m. – 1 a.m., you’ll be surrounded by Celtic bands, plenty of Irish cuisine, and of course green beer. Tickets in advance are just $15, with $5 parking fees.

A Green Weekend

Close to your Anaheim hotel is the Fenians St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the City National Grove. Head to 2200 E. Katella Avenue to kick up your heels with Orange County’s renowned Irish band. It all goes down on March 17th starting at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $25 and you can tack on an Irish dinner for an extra fee.

The Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery at 1625 West Katella Avenue in Orange is a full Irish, Scottish, and English pub “where good times are always on tap.” The famous Tilted Kilt Girls kick off the party on March 17 and you can score Guinness Lucky Leprechaun Shots along with green beer. Bagpipes and more start at 9 p.m.
