In its sixth year, the Hollywood Half Marathon has already become one of the most popular runs in Southern California. Take to the streets of the famed Hollywood hills on April 7 for rolling hills, gorgeous scenery, and the chance to zip past renowned landmarks. You’ll race across the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where spectators will be cheering you on. It all starts at the Dolby Theatre where the Academy Awards are held, and soon enough you’ll feel like a star as you cross the red carpet-lined finish line.
It’s a unique way to tour the entertainment capital, and in the past there have been a few celebrities who join the race, too. Enjoy the sunrise over Sunset at 7 a.m. and at 9 a.m. the post-race festivities begin. Designed to showcase the glamour of the city and the history of Hollywood, this road race is a perfect bucket list item—or training run for a marathon.
The Race is On
You’ll glide through The Grove and get a sneak peek at the shopkeepers opening up for the day. Premium entertainment can be found at nearly every mile, and this race has some of the best (and most supportive!) spectators to urge you on.
