Do something a little different this Halloween weekend, and head to Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo October 28 – 30! Located at the nearby Los Angeles Convention Center, tickets are available online now for a discount, or you can get admission at the door. This year’s guests include Stan Lee (of course), Adam West, Burt Ward, Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether among many others. It’s the area’s first multi-media pop culture conference, held annually and bringing together the latest in fantasy, video games, comics, sci-fi, horror and pop culture!
In collaboration with Stan Lee and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, it’s fully owned and managed by genuine pop culture icons. Over 75,000 attendees flock to the convention every year, coming from every part of the world. Last year, there were more than 700 vendors and artists offering a variety of rare comics, figurines and collectibles—and this year is expected to be even bigger.
Get Ready to Geek Out
Indulge in a positive, geeky community vibe where fantasies come to life. Stan Lee is quick to point out that the goal is to make the event a family affair, complete with Elvira as the crazy and beautiful aunt. Hours are October 28 from 5 – 9 p.m., October 29 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and October 30 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., giving you plenty of opportunities to meet your favorite stars, snap a photo with celebrities, and still have time to celebrate Halloween each evening.
You’ll find cosplayers galore and are encouraged to come in your own best getups. Meet famed players Megan Golden, Joanie Brosas, Maid of Might and many more. The Convention Center is a short drive from your Anaheim guest room, and it’s the ultimate gathering for anyone with a geek streak (or more!) in them.
