Goofy’s How-to-Play Yard is a super fun play area right in the middle of Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park. It’s made just for kids and is full of bright colors, silly sounds, and exciting things to explore. If you love to climb, slide, and play, this is the place to be!
This spot has been around for a while. It started in 1993 as Goofy’s Bounce House, then turned into Goofy’s Playhouse, and now it’s even better as Goofy’s How-to-Play Yard. In 2023, it got a big makeover and became an awesome playground where kids can laugh, learn, and go a little bit goofy—just like Goofy himself!
Outside, there’s a big play yard with colorful things to climb, squishy ground to bounce on, and even a clubhouse where you can see all of Toontown. You can crawl through fun tunnels, run around in open spaces, and play with all kinds of silly gadgets. There’s even a sound garden where you can make goofy noises using things that look like they came from Goofy’s kitchen.
When you head inside Goofy’s house, you’ll find the wackiest kitchen ever. There’s a candy-making machine that moves and makes sounds while it turns honey into pretend treats. You can press buttons, pull levers, and watch all the silly stuff happen. There’s even a piano that plays silly songs!
Goofy’s How-to-Play Yard gets dressed up for the holidays, too! At Halloween, you might see pumpkins and fun decorations. At Christmas, there are lights and a tree that make the yard feel extra special.
This play yard is great for all kids, and even parents and big brothers or sisters can have fun here. There are places to sit and rest while watching little ones play, and there’s no long line to wait in. You can go in and start having fun right away!
It’s also a great place to take pictures with your family. Everything is so colorful and funny-looking—perfect for goofy photos. And sometimes, Goofy even shows up to say hi!
