Looking for a fun festive holiday event, take a drive and head over to the Newport Beach annual Christmas Boat Parade, Deck The Hulls With Bows of Jolly. This annual event is a favorite among locals and visitors. One of the most favored events of the year, this exciting parade will get you in the holiday spirit.
Spread the joy of the holidays and bring a friend or two to sit back with you and enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights on boats of all shapes and sizes. The fun begins at 6:30 pm at the Bay Island Channel. The parade route proceeds around the shore line of the inlet including Balboa island and Lido Isle ending at the starting point at 9 pm. The parade is each night through the 21st so you have plenty of time to join the fun. Bring your own lawn chairs and a thermos of hot apple cider but be sure to get there early to secure your viewing spot.
