Affectionately known as the “Big A,” the Angel Stadium is one of the most iconic ballparks in Major League Baseball. Although this stadium is the fourth-oldest Major League Baseball ballpark, major league improvements have kept it comfortable and modern.
The Angel stadium has hosted concerts, soccer matches, pro football games, and almost every grand event imaginable. Most notably, the Angel Stadium has been home to Angels Baseball since 1966, when it was built.
No event at the stadium is complete without an Angel Dog; enjoying one of these is a must-do to complete your visit to the Angel Stadium, as weññ as singing the “Build Me Up, Buttercup” by The Foundations during the 7th inning stretch. If you’re craving something more comforting, stop by the Big Cheese for the gourmet and famous ballpark grilled cheese.
If there are no games during your visit to town, you can take a guided tour through the stadium, learn about the park’s history, and get all the behind-the-scenes juice.
While in town, take a guided tour around Angel Stadium during non-game days and learn about the ballpark’s history behind the scenes.
Angel Stadium Area Development Plan
The Angel Studio is planning an area development that includes dining, shopping, and other entertainment features all surrounding the park. This development will consist of over 2 million square feet of residential development, office space, a par, and two hotels. Some in-stadium improvements are also planned, including a unique fan experience where guests can enjoy restaurants, breweries, and live music.
